Intake

The first step in the child support process is Intake.

Intake involves all of the activities that are part of opening a child support case.

Any parent, guardian or caretaker such as a grandparent is eligible to apply for child support services to establish paternity and/or establish, modify and enforce a child support order. Individuals in receipt of TANF services will automatically be referred to child support when there is a dependent child.
