Module 1: Overview of NYS CSE Program

Location

Location is the process of gathering information about a non-custodial parent (NCP). This process identifies their whereabouts, including where they live and place of employment.

New York State law requires Local CSE Units to provide location services for all child support clients. These services should be provided whenever there is a need to get information about the non-custodial parent.
