Support Enforcement:

Probation

What Happens?

Court orders the non-custodial parent (NCP) to be supervised by a probation officer to insure the NCP pays child support.

Why it Happens?

If the court establishes that the NCP had the ability to pay child support, but wilfully avoided paying, then the judge may sentence the NCP to a probation term.
