Rehabilitative Program
What Happens?
If the children are receiving temporary assistance, the court orders the NCP to participate in a rehabilitative program that may include a work preparation and skill program, a non-residential alcohol and substance abuse program, or an educational program.
Why it Happens?
If the court establishes that the NCP failed to pay child support willfully or involuntarily, the judge may require the NCP to participate in a rehabilitative program.
